The Québec Depression Hub will focus on uncovering markers of suicide vulnerability in depressed individuals and testing new clinical care treatments that show promise in alleviating depression and preventing suicidal acts.
The main goal of the Québec Depression Hub is to work together with clinicians and people with lived experience to conduct research, share information, promote awareness, and facilitate development of better services and resources based on scientific evidence and best practices.
Specific Projects in Preparation
Improving clinical data collection,
storage and access to benefit both Clinical practice and Research
Integrate a Neuropsychological battery
at entrance to provide clinicians and researchers with a broader understanding of the neurocognitive abilities of patients suffering from depression.
Obtain levels of activity
and sleep quality of patients with data available for clinicians and research.
